A nice epoch with above expected returns (blocks) and all blocks were produced. For the next epoch we have five blocks allocated which is in line with the expected average.
The nodes running the new 1.29.0 release seem to be running smoothly as we head towards the enablement of smart contracts. There has been a lot of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt) published about Cardano and smart contracts recently but there have been a fair few explanations of how Cardano can operate and solve some of the issues. We still expect it will take months before we start seeing the ramping up of quality apps but we have to start somewhere and no doubt there will be more FUD about smart contracts after launch.
We are still in the process of moving and our website remains down until late September and it is currently redirecting to our telegram site.

*– Blocks are allocated randomly each epoch based upon total stake a pool has just like a lottery. Luck refers to how many blocks were allocated to a pool against the expected blocks that the pools should produce. Some epochs (5 day periods) you will be allocated more blocks and some less but over time it should even out
